Nasty agent at United Airlines treats father traveling with infant terribly
My experience with this agent was less than pleasant. I was traveling alone with my infant son and required assistance to be able to check the car seat and 2 bags I had and was directed to see this agent who was the only agent in close proximity on the floor by the kiosk at the time. When I approached I'm to ask he told me he was too busy and to see any other agent to get help. When I pointed out there were no other agents around he condescendingly told me how big the United terminal was and that I should walk to the other end to get help which I did. Dragging my bags and pushing a stroller I finally got an agent to assist with what I needed. When I was done I walked toward the security gate but saw the first rude agent now behind the counter with another customer. So I stop by the counter and asked the agent his name.
He refused to give me his name and abruptly walked away from me and the customer he was helping and threatens to get security. Several minutes later he returned without his name tag and with his work I.d. badge flipped over to conceal his identity. At this point I began videotaping the incident. After several more minutes of him being irrational, condescending and rude all while I politely and calmly asked for his name or a supervisor and him refusing to answer my son and I left to catch our flight.
This agent from the beginning treated me like I had no business being at the airport refusing to help or call someone over to help all the while speaking to me in a way that was offensive. Then when I asked for his name to be able to reference him in my complaint he got hostile and threatened me several times while he concealed his identity from me. He has no business being in customer service and I am not happy with how me and my child was treated.
