Ahem, ahem (not sure why I need to clear throat to type, but it needs to be done)
Just recently my husband (@therealtstorm) and I (@mskayleeg) let the world know that we are pregnant with our first child together. So far it has been an interesting journey.
One thing is for sure that pregnancy changes your body a lot, I’m sure that for those of you that already have kids you already experienced this. Sleeping at night is not getting any easier.
It definitely has changed and will continue to change my body. From December 2015 unto now (March) I have gained 13 pounds, which the doctors say is ok. But for me is not ok, because this is a lot of weight already. It’s like I’m short of breath every day. Slowly but surely my clothes are not fitting as much.
I wish someone would have told me that once I became pregnant I would be feeling short of breath almost every day. Getting dressed in the morning or just getting dressed is a struggle, and I’m not that big yet!!
Appetite in the first trimester was interesting. My cravings were all over the place. I mainly wanted fried food and sardines (yes sardines, but now not so much.) I’m still tired and if I don’t get my nap all hell can break loose (just kidding). I need my naps.
And the biggest thing so far is the gas!! Yes, flatulence. Goodness gracious, why didn’t anyone warn me again that it was going to be this bad!! This baby has me running to the bathroom like every 20-30 minutes, come one now I have a life. The majority of my life cannot be spent in the bathroom.
Well let’s hope that the rest of the second trimester and the third trimester are a breeze (Ha!! wishful thinking.) One thing is for sure my husband is getting more and more excited as he sees the belly growing.
