A Hutchinson, Kansas family expecting twins, a boy and a girl, learned that the boy may not make it due to a whole in his heart and abnormal brain. Expecting mother Britney McIntire while devastated about possibly losing a child said she was comforted in knowing that at least her unborn son wouldn’t be by himself during his time of need stating, “She’s the only one who can actually be there and holding onto him through it, "So it’s comforting to know that if he does pass, he won’t be alone.”
